Is your Logo ready for prime time?
Jan 8, 2018
Well here we go. This is my first blog and I hope it helps.....
Is you logo ready for prime time?
Most companies don't have access to their high resolution/vectored logo and wonder why when they are put on the sponsor board or some sponsor banner that has a lot of other companies logos that look beautiful and theirs looks like a blob on the banner. Then they look around and have no good logos in their files because no one kept the good ones. You go on the website to get one and it looks great but when printed it looks terrible. Most web logos are at 72 dpi and in order to print a quality looking logo it needs to be at least 300 dpi.
Easy way to get quality logos...
1. Contact your printer or large format printing company and ask them for it. (you payed for it.)
2. Contact your corporate office and tell them that you need high resolution vectored logo.
3. Send you logo to a quality design artist and pay to have it done correctly. It may cost you but in the long run it will be worth it.
4. You will need to have you logos in the following formats:
eps, ai, png, jpg, pdf, gif. These should cover all requirements for everything from large format, printers, embroiderers, signs, etc.
Now when you get the art disk put it in a file on all computers and physically store in a safe place on a disk, stick or some other storage device.
Hope this helped a little and I promise it will get better as we go. I plan on putting out something at least once a month so check back often. If you have any questions you would like answered, please send me an email. jfields@ZingerPress.com and I will get you an answer asap.
